Channelling classic Shanghai glamour via the golden era of swing, Park Chinois is the latest venture from Alan Yau – the man behind Michelin-starred Hakkasan and Yauatcha. In the restaurant’s ‘Prologue’ he explains that it started “as a conversation about the 1930’s; the era of the dinner and dance, Big Band sound, the Cotton Club.” Years in the making, the massive 300-seat venue has realised this vision with regular musical acts and an exciting, extravagant feel to match the food.
