Natalie B Coleman is a native of Co. Monaghan, Ireland. In 2006 Natalie graduated from BA (Hons) Fashion & Design, Limerick School of Art & Design, by 2007 she was studying on the MA Fashion in Womenswear at Central Saint Martins under the tutelage of the late Louise Wilson.

Natalie B Coleman established a design studio and launched her eponymous label in 2011. Her collections play on feminine silhouettes with humorous and sometimes subversive illustrative prints and motifs. Over the years the label has been developing a strong feminist rhetoric that now informs the collections.

Natalie's work pivots between tradition and innovation. Working with a team of skilled artisan craftspeople, Natalie's work introduces handcraft techniques that have been passed down through generations of Irish women, from mother to daughter over the years. Traditional female-centric needlework, weaving, stitching, Carrickmacross lace, embroidery, hand knits are used to create original, intricate and beautiful clothing.  These unique fabric treatments are all developed and created at her studio in the heart of Dublin.

In 2013 Natalie became the first Irish designer ambassador to Microsoft Ireland. This is an exciting role for the label bridging innovation and technology with fashion.  In 2011 Natalie published An Archive with renowned graphic designer Paul Bailey. The book was specially commended at the Best British Book Design and Production Awards and was bought by London College of Fashion as part of their permanent library.

Natalie presents her collections at London and Paris Fashion Weeks. Her collections have been featured in magazines including Harper's Bazaar, Self Service, Grazia, Re-Edition, Double, Marie Claire and Dutch Vogue while fans of the label include Laura Whitmore, Angela Scanlon, Charlene McKenna, Marina & The Diamonds, Suki Waterhouse, Lily Collins, Little Mix and Mary J Blige.

In addition to owning and running a successful label Natalie is also a fashion lecturer at the National College of Art & Design, Dublin.
