RIXO's story began in September 2015 in the London living room of best friends Henrietta Rix & Orlagh McCloskey, born from their passion for vintage. Combining the young Creative Directors' own names, the brand's philosophy is to evoke a wanderlust & free spirit in all their wearers, filling a gap in the contemporary market with vintage-inspired easy-to-wear feminine shapes and high-quality materials.
Always inclusive, always empowering, RIXO create a fusion of original hand-painted prints and timeless silhouettes to flatter every woman irrespective of age, season, shape, nationality or time of day.
Stocked by internationally renowned boutiques, iconic department stores and global online retailers, as well as their own e-commerce site, RIXO has gained recognition as a brand-to-watch. The brand was awarded the DHL Award for International Growth Potential by DHL and the British Fashion Council in October 2017, as well as Premium Brand of the Year at Drapers Awards in November 2018.
In September 2018, RIXO presented their Spring/Summer 2019 collection at their debut London Fashion Week presentation, at which they also launched a new accessories category alongside their existing ready-to-wear line. January 2019 marked the launch of RIXO's swimwear category within their Resort 2019 collection.
